Patti - I suspect you have a theme applied to your forms. The theme will
override any colours you apply.

This is happening in all my forms. I hadn't noticed it before because
I'm usually testing out and paying attention to other things when I
run the forms. Now that I was writing some instructions for users,
referring to colors of un-editable fields, I finally noticed the
problems.
Is there anything I can do to fix it?
