OMG.  You can't change this setting en masse.  I have about 40 forms with an
average of 25 radio groups on each form.
Any chance there might be a shortcut to changing the visual style from Win XP
to something else?

Hi Ken,No, it was unchecked.  I did see the other setting for Theme border
style, which was checked.  I unchecked it on a bunch of groups.  No difference.
(I had previously only check for Themes at the form level - not the field
level.)

I tried Visual Style - Classic and Gradient  and they both worked!!!  I don't
like them as much as Win XP style because the color extends above the group box
so you have to space things farther apart, but I guess it's better than
nothing.
Thank you all for your help.Patti

the settings page, check to see if the transparent option is checked. If it is,
uncheck it and then retry your form.  From: [email protected]

"Use Theme" box is unchecked on the two forms I looked at just now.  It is also
unchecked in my default settings.  Thank you though.Patti  From: Albert

applied to your forms. The theme will override any colours you apply.

I seem to have a problem with my Variable and DB Radio Group background colors.
I have them set for a color called Info Background in Designer - background
color and font.  They appear in that color on the design screen.  But when you
run the form, they are all "Button Face."  I tried changing the color to
several other options and they were all still Button Face.    This is happening
in all my forms.  I hadn't noticed it before because I'm usually testing out
and paying attention to other things when I run the forms.  Now that I was
writing some instructions for users, referring to colors of un-editable fields,
I finally noticed the problems.    Is there anything I can do to fix it?  Patti
