Maybe the RBG65.exe is corrupt.  I would  install RBase to local pc and try that. Make sure you apply all patches. If that works, then I would either re-install the files to the network or copy from local pc to network.

Subject: need help trouble shooting

rbase 6.5++ windows (on a network)

I'm still trying to trouble shoot my database problems and I noticed when one of my procedures gets to the command line "rename table tblname to tablename2" I get the following error:

"RBG65.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.  you will need to restart the program.  An error log is being created."

I went to my tables and tried to rename a "test" table that I created and I got the error again, so for some reason I can not rename any of my tables.

This may be an unrelated problem, but when I gateway data into my tables I get the following message:

"There is insufficient disk space on either the target drive or the temporary file drive.  The operation may fail.  Do you wish to continue?

I do continue, and my data seems to gateway fine.

Can anyone offer some direction on where to start trouble shooting for this problem?  My two main problems are, I keep getting the above error message when I run certain procedures, and my database is running very slow.  Even when I move the scroll bar in a table it moves very slowly.
I did clear all of my variables and that did not seem to make a difference.  Another suggestion I got was to check my indexes and I'm going to work on that now.

All help is very much appreciated.  Tricia
