Bernie, We're getting off track a bit here. I original post was in response to Bernie Lis who is having his variable form crash when executing CloseWindow in edit mode. His work-a-round was to use enter. Like you, I thought this would add rows, but he says no.
I get spurious crashes exiting forms (not similar to Bearnie L's circumstance), but haven't been able to pin down a cause. They seem to be limited to when I'm testing new code, so I haven't worried much about it (must be the nut behind the wheel).
