Claudine, A trigger is part of the table structure, set up through the syntax of the ALTER TABLE command. Once it is in place, it executes when the row is deleted (or changed or inserted, for those kinds of triggers), no matter how the row is deleted, through a form, the browser, a DELETE command, or and ODBC delete from another program not R:Base.
