I dug this out of the archives but I guess I don't
understand format mask at all for caps. I even looked at the article at FTE
but this is really strange.
Like Bob, I have a four character db edit field that I want
to be in all caps. I placed a '>' in the Format Mask area of the
Effects section.
When I enter the data, it does not show in caps. Furthermore
it turns my entry around. I mean if I type 'aab' it fills in the field 'baa'.
Any clues? Using build 76.30715.

Razzak. I don't use too many format masks because I seem to struggle
with them. This is exactly what I was looking for. This probably
qualifies as a "DUH". I should have thought of it....

Bob,
Did
you know that you can use ">" option as "Format Mask"
to achieve the
same goal?
If a ">" character appears in the mask, all
characters
that follow are in uppercase until the end of the mask
or
until a "<" character is encountered.
