I find that I can get 3K out of 26"x1.95 continentals on my atlantis, however, I'm stuck in this odd cycle where they start to get worn in september-october, which is the peak of the thorn season in Northern California, I start getting a bunch of flats, I replace my tires, and they're worn out again just in time for the next year's thorn season. I don't know how to break out of this without replacing relatively new tires at some point.
