I've read all the replies but I'm wondering for those who recommend
the boonie and Tilley type hats, how do you keep the front brim from
blowing "up" against the center part of the hat while riding, thus
defeating the purpose of any sun-shading/blocking? I've tried
Columbia boonie hats, Tilley hats, straw hats, cheap WalMart fishing
hats and they all do the same thing. The brim blows up and I look
like an steel-stead riding Napoleon. Maybe I'm just going faster?

I gave up on these kinds of hats (though the boonie is my favorite off-
bike hat), and wear a baseball cap instead while on the bike. It's
the only one I've found that the brim stays "down" shading my face,
which I think is where you'd want the shading. Curious how others
fare.

Cheers
