I have to say my new LBS is great. Lots of steel, some CF of course but if you want to try a bike they say, hey we will dial it in how you want, go for a few hour ride and see how it feels. That's the part of buying a bike I never got, how looking at it and standing over it or even a 5 minute ride around the block could make you sure you want to put down 3-5k on this thing. When I buy a car its 3-4 test drives for at least half an hour each.
