On the other hand, if you're getting the whole package for $1500 and it doesn't 
have the downtube cable stop for the front shift cable, it shouldn't cause too 
much grumbling to put one of those aftermarket clamp-on cable stops on there. A 
person who knows what they want enough to demand that shiftable front granny 
should be able to handle that. So I stand by my whole post below with one 
exception: I take back the word "mistake". It's gonna be a bike that anyone can 
make work for what they want to do.
