Do I detect irony? Quite seriously: I don't deny that some people have benefited in some ways from the "paleo" diet. What I dispute is that it represents a universal norm. History shows that it does not do so.
I think that we have to look elsewhere for the pandemic of obesity and chronic diseases that plague modernity.
