OK, perhaps I will retract the "annoyed" and leave only the "amused". For the record, I am a practicing Orthodox Christian and I am quite ready to believe Daniel -- that is, to believe that the book, Daniel, accurately relates what happened to the prophet, Daniel. I just find the "gee whiz!!!" factor on the websites that popped up first when I googled "Daniel" and "diet", hoping to get the scriptural reference -- well, again, let's just say I find them amusing.
