I have Clement LXV 29 x 2.1 tyres on my parallel 2TT Bomba, with wide rims (30 mm) and room for more tyre. I test-fit 60 mm Big Apples in there with no problem. This is a 64 cm frame, don't know if smaller frames have a bit less clearance at the chainstays?
