I test rode an Albatross Sam on the bike path near Rivendell. Was pushing
it to see if it could replace my Bianchi road bike as my only go fast-ish
bike (It has). Near the end of the test ride I could tell someone was
following. I tried to wave him on since I was pulling over to return to
Rivendell HQ. Instead of passing, he stopped. He was trying to catch up
with me to see what I was riding. Couldn't believe I was going that fast
on such and "old" bike.
