A wee ride is, well goodness, it could be 6 blocks each way to the grocery 
store. Anything counts! Anything is good! Most of my riding is in increments of 
2-10 miles commuting and running errands. I don't get kitted up; what I'm 
wearing just about always works. Just pump the tires if I haven't done it in a 
several  days, make sure I have a lock, and whatever bag/basket combo the day 
calls for! I have 2 big dogs, one of whom is a solid energetic 18 month old 
plus my work days can be long--so I grab riding whenever I can. Wee rides thus 
become really important.

Okay, winter is a little different ...
