I've been told the Sunrace is the same as the Microshift (though a big difference in the cosmetics). My daughter has been riding 9-speed index Microshift bar ends for 3 years without a hitch. I build my upright this winter with Microshift thumbies 9-speed index on compact double (and rarely shift the front). I am spoiled by it.
