Orange Sam here, with cream fenders. I think the silver can look a little too heavy and metallic on some bikes - making the bike look clunky.
What ultimately clinched the decision for me was when a vintage truck similar to this, drove by one afternoon. https://www.flickr.com/photos/mustangjoe/8583713463 A lightbulb went off, and suddenly the cream made so much sense. Not a single regret since.
