Joe, No fenders with the burts. There's decent clearance, but I wouldn't say enough to safely run fenders over the knobby tires. I think switchbacks plus fenders would be the ticket for the best all around set up. Hopefully I'll end up with that set up eventually. In the meantime if fall starts to get wet I may throw on a clip on fender just to keep from ruining my shorts. Plus I've got full fenders on my simpleone.
