There is a wobble in my rear hub (original to my Hunqapillar, Spring 2012). I discovered it while inflating my rear tire for a fast curvy descent on pavement on today’s ride. Called Rivendell (once I got reception) and they said I should be fine riding it home (still with lots of fast descent to go).
Harry mentioned something about warrantee, but after 4 years of what I’ve done to the thing, even if there is a warranty (standard Velocity made, not sure what the hub is, XT I think), it seems prohibitive to ship it. I am guessing it may just need a bearing replacement/rebuild, but I’ve never done this. Advice and recommendations appreciated!
