I mounted mine -- with notable difficulty -- on rims with Velox. "Almost impossible" just about sums it up. Great ride, but mine only lasted about 1,000 miles, par for the course for an "event tire."

Hi Steve, They can be tight going on. But I've found that if you use the really thin rim tape, like the Stan's No Tube tape, they go on much more easily. With Velox they are almost impossible to mount. At least that's been the case with Mavic Open Pros and the Velocity A23 rims. I haven't mounted them to any other rims. I've gotten good mileage out of them. But I haven't sold many, and so haven't gotten feedback from others.

They (Parigi Roubaix clinchers) do have a great ride /*but*/ first
time installation is living hell, and they have a very short
    service life in my experience.

While I'm sure the Compass tires are great, I haven't tried them
yet. I've been using the Challenge Paris Roubaix for several
years and couldn't be happier. Their stated width is 27mm but
they measure 29.5mm. I run them at 85psi rear and 80 psi front. I
weigh 175lbs. On my Rambouillet I use the Gilles Berthoud carbon
fiber fenders (yeah, I know, but they're just so pretty I
couldn't resist) and I have plenty of clearance.

It's a few notches up in price and in riding experience for
smooth rolling plushness to try Compass. You'll either love
them and have minimal issues with flats (many, myself
included, have very few), or love them and have more flats
than you are willing to put up with. I find it amazing how
much more enjoyable any road is with these tires! For me,
well worth the bump in price.
