I think Bill Lindsay was making a kind offer to buy and hold a backup set 
of the V1 shifters for me.  It's nice to know the Walnut Creek Gang has my 
back.  Call me a crank, but I just hate when good things are "improved" out 
of their original purpose.  Ah well.  Progress.
