Your ride sounds wonderful. I'm doing one whenever it's not raining on the weekends. I'm also starting to take my "use it or loose it" vacation days based on the weather, just so I can go on a longish, "wherever it takes me" midweek ride. I've had my Appaloosa for just two weeks and now understand what I've been reading about on this board for the last 6 months.
