Don't get me wrong, I'm all for front platforms, and my bikes always have dynamo lighting and fenders. The only reason the platform doesn't work for me is I need the ability to put this particular bike on a city bus from time to time. The racks on the front of the buses are not particularly compatible with any but the smallest of rando racks. I do have a handlebar mounted bag and fork crown mounted headlight. Fenders can have an extra stay mounted on the front.
