I have done the Adventure Series rides. They are all challenging, but I
found the 200k and the 600k to be hardest for different reasons.

The 200k has a lot of technical dirt sections, and much opportunity to make
up time if you approach the dirt sections with caution, as I have.

The 600k used to be held in June to take advantage of longer daylight. The
heat and the remote locations became a real issue, so now the brevets are
held in distance order. So less of an issue with heat, but more riding at
night. Some riders ride through, most sleep for a few hours in either
shared rooms or get their own room. For local riders, this ride can be
compared to riding Devil Mountain Double and Terrible Two on successive
days, with the added difficulty of heavier bikes and no support.

In contrast, the 300k is relatively easy, and should be within reach of
most riders who can ride a double century. The dirt sections are relatively
short and not too technical. The 400k has a lot of climbing, some of it
steep, and chances are you will be riding all night.
