I'm about 200 miles into the Atlantis now, and I'm convinced it is a
perfect bike. There isn't a thing I would change about it. I am certain
there is not another <$1500 frameset out there that is intended for the
same kind of riding that is better. Rivendells in general for 2019 are
highly evolved bikes for traditional riding use-cases. Virtually
everything else in the bike industry of 2019 is either not highly evolved,
or is made for extreme and/or specialized riding use cases. If you are a
normal person, doing normal cycling, the Atlantis is a perfect machine.
There's no question that the Atlantis could be a one-bike stable for me.
I'd never actually try to live with a one-bike stable, but I'm totally
confident I could.
