As a new owner of a 56cm 650b Atlantis, I have to precognitively say that the
new Atlantis is a perfect bike. I say that because my Atlantis came to me with
Choco bars installed and I really like them, but they’re not ideal for me. Like
Bill and Joe, I want me some drops on my Atlantis. I’m in the process of
putting together a drop bar cockpit, and I’m 99 & 33/100% sure that when it’s
completed and installed, it’ll make the Atlantis a perfect bike for me.

I also agree with Bill’s comparison between the old Atlantis and the new one. I
had a 700c Toyo Atlantis many years ago and thought it was a brilliant bike. My
new 650b Atlantis feels no less road-worthy, but a good deal more capable
off-road. Add to that the additional mounting points, greater stability with
the longer chainstays, and zero TCO, and you’ve got an even better iteration to
a machine that I felt was pretty close to perfect the first time around.
