Curious: have any of you ridden both 700C and 650B fattish tires in sandy terrain, and can you say how the extra ~4 cm difference in height affects floatation, or for that matter, cushioning over small bumps like washboard or tree roots?
Keeping all things equal, of course: similar tires, widths, pressures, just different diameters.
