Yeah, the Grip Kings really don't grip well in the rain. My foot slipped off them once when commuting to work in the rain. I remember thinking "They should call these pedals Slip Kings". I'll add blunted spikes to one side up on the front of the pedal and see how that goes, it should eliminate slippage.
