With this photo I could have angled the camera better, and the light receptors apparently are too primitive to compensate for even an indirect May mid-afternoon sun at 5K feet. Still, the 1 mile high blue sky, the river, and the cottonwoods on the far bank are pretty. It’s pretty stable; I’ve only knocked it off once when carelessly swinging my leg over it when full of upstanding bottles; fortunately the tallest bottle was plastic and not glass.
