I’m always on the lookout for neat-looking (no t-shirts), trim-fitting, straight-cut-hemmed “dress casual” shirts to wear while cycling to civilian destinations such as a restaurant or church.
I’ve got some inexpensive ones from Kohl’s that do well — wicking, channel air through open neck to back ventilation flap, trim but not tightly cut, look good — but like all synthetics I’ve used they do start stinking after that critical hour post-ride — tho’ I laboriously overcome that by swishing them and my synthetic jerseys in a gallon of cold water and hanging to dry; this keeps them stink-free almost as long as wool. Has anyone used these or similar? https://topodesigns.com/products/retro-river-shirt-short-sleeve-mens *Materials: *50% Recycled Polyester, 50% Polyester Perforated 4-way Stretch Woven 120 gsm I’m looking for a very breathable, quick-drying ss “bush” shirt with straight hem to wear outside of one’s pants. This material has very small perforations and a ventilating back yoke; both excellent. Recycled: a plus, at least in principle. *My question is: does it stink like other synthetics, even “breathable” ones?* -- Patrick Moore Alburquerque, Nuevo Mexico, Etats Unis d'Amerique, Orbis Terrarum ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Executive resumes, LinkedIn profiles, bios, letters, and other writing services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *When thou didst not, savage, k**now thine own meaning,* *But wouldst gabble like a** thing most brutish,* *I endowed thy purposes w**ith words that made them known.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
