I had a 54 cm Ram and still have a 53 cm Roadeo. The 54 Ram as a 650b conversion is my favorite Riv--other than my custom. I got my custom and my wife made me give up the Ram (fair enough :).
Two big differences for me between the Ram and Roadeo. The top tube of the Roadeo is shorter, so given the same stem length, you can ride more easily in the drops. (Of course you could get a longer stem to try to ride in exactly the same position too, but a faster bike and more in the drops/aerodynamic made sense to me). In fact, the Roadeo is so comfortable to ride in the drops all day long, whereas my Ram, I would default to riding with hands a few inches behind the hoods. Second, the Roadeo handling is definitely more responsive for me as I turn the handlebars (as opposed to turning by weight shift, for which almost all Rivs feel the same to me), but it could be due to the changes in my riding position or differences in tires or any number of other factors.
