Hadn't noticed, but it would make the newer Hillborne bikes easier to
mount a frame bag, such as the Revelate Designs Tangle with a lower
bottle mount.

Yes, the fork crown is different now.  I have an early Hillborne and
the design is different.  I like mine, but if I had the newer, I'd
like that, too.

As to the lower bottle mount, have it on another bike, and have used
the presta nut spacer solution.  Otherwise, don't really notice a
difference in actually reaching down to grab a bottle.

Oh, and add me to the list - those are very nice photos of a very nice
build.
