I rode drops in my 20's and early 30's. Then I more or less gave up cycling
though I did have a mountain bike around. I picked up again about 3 years
ago after turning 50 fell in love with moustache bars. Apparently they
aren't for everyone but those of us who like 'em seem to swear by them (as
opposed to at them). I really like the fact that I can be fairly upright and
still get aero when needed.

Indeed a I just had a lovely 70 mile ride on them yesterday and was
comfortable the whole way.
