Like DougP, I walked to the P.O. to mail my ballot on Satuday. OT, but I believe Riv-attitude appropriate: This last week I've had an ongoing conversation, not even a debate, with someone who at first appeared to be my political polar opposite. It's one of the few online conversations I've had that got MORE civil as it progressed. Man it made me feel good. It literally started out with rage-noises, and ended with "as a sort of friend, I want you to take care of yourself." I learned about him, he learned about me. I don't think I would have been able to have that conversation without learning some hard lessons on this list and the iBOB list.
