I have a double TT  56 Hillborne. 
Was a fan of the 2xTT when I bought it, but wouldn't want another bike with 
a double top tube now. 
This is because mine fractured from the head tube whilst riding up an 
embankment. (downtube fractured too)
I have no scientific basis to believe the fracture has anything to do with 
the double top tube, but it doesn't stop me from believing it does!
