Hey there!

I'm a fellow "custom color" Atlantis owner (red!) and totally get your
dilemma - fortunately I'm able to maintain a stable of bikes so the
temptation to sell the Atlantis doesn't come up. I fed my jones for a
29'er disc brake bike with a Civilian Luddite and love it, but not to the
extent of choosing it over the Riv. Have you tried super-fat semi-knobs on
the Atlantis? Looks like the Ogre will handle up to a 2.5" tire , and I've
seen Atlantii with 50mm slicks which is nearly 2". I'd whip a set of
knobbies on the Atlantis and give it a go before giving it up. I think
that yellow all-rounder that hit the list recently is one of the coolest
bikes I've ever seen.

Best of luck in any event!
