Thanks for the replies and suggestions. I've been holding out to buy another set of 40mm Supremes from Riv but their arrival keeps getting delayed and now I'm painted into a corner to pay for 2-day shipping to buy them elsewhere online... and I'm cheap. I imagine there's a LBS around portland that has them in stock but I've checked a couple shops near me and all I get is "we can order them".
I've been tempted to go with the 35mm Mara Supremes, but have had such good luck with the 40mm on dirt and with loads that I'm hesitant to change course. The Nomads are appealing 'cause of the added width, but maybe that's overkill.
