with the reach adjuster screws flush you get about 3 mm of slack in the housing. The pair I got takes a little jiggling to get it un slacked. I havent installed them yet but can see how the qr works. Untill i screwed the reach adjusters in there was no visible difference i

The knob is awkward to turn and I'd guess is probably more trouble than it's worth for such a small amount of travel.
