Cecily, I just went through a few weeks of dialing in my Brooks. I have the
B68, basically your saddle without the springs. I was having the same issues
you described - pressure where it was unwanted, sliding off the nose of the
saddle when I tilted down, tried scooting it forward, thinking that HAD to be
the problem...all to no avail. I remembered reading Grant's opinion somewhere
and he had said, 'slide the sucker all the way back' or something close to
that. Anyway, I did, and guess what? Sit bones exactly where they should be and
no more pain. In fact, I'd say I'm in saddle nirvana - never think of the
saddle anymore. Mine is tilted up just a hair, and no more. I've noticed most
women don't have their Brooks' tilted up much, but the men really do. Just try
it! :)
