I am using R 2.8.0 and have downloaded and installed R/Scilab (D)COM Server 3.0-1B5. I have installed the rscproxy package. The registry key corresponding to my R installation points to the installation folder of R (C:\Program Files\R\R-2.8.0) and the R_HOME environment variable is also C:\Program Files\R\R-2.8.0.
However, as the basic test fails, I must be going wrong somewhere and would be grateful for advice. The error code is: SCN_E_LIBRARYNOTFOUND -2147221485 0x80040013and the text is: installation problem: unable to load connector and a box says 'Method '~' of object '~' failed' Thanks in advance for your help.
