Oh I know you weren't asking about metal, but anyone considering casting out of metal should also note that cast metal tends to shrink once it's cooled. From what I heard, your mold should be about 10% over sized to take the shrinkage under account. I'm sure the 10% number also depends on the type of metal being cast.
