Power conversion sequence for proposed Genset powered hobby tank:
1. 110Vac Genset 2. Step-down transformer, 110Vac to 24Vac. 3. AC to DC conversion via heavy duty diode bridge. 4. Filter stage to cleanup the power (via some big-ass axial caps). 5. Dual channel reversible DC motor controller. 6. Two PM 24Vdc scooter motors. Batteries would replace items 1 through 4 in the above list. You could charge the batteries with the genset if you want to keep gasoline in the mix.
