I haven't troubleshooted yet. I'll know this weekend if it was a failed ESC or not. I've been using the same two Victor 883's for six years without an issue. The IMX-1 was not damaged. Air temperature was not hot and the failure occurred early in the second sortie with about 20 minute break between sorties. Consequently, I do not believe that it was a thermal failure. The failure did occur while performing rapid reversal steering maneuvers in very tall grass. The failure was probably due to impedance reversal spikes. Good news - It only required about 20 minutes to replace the dead Talons with two new Talon SRs. The new Talons SRs did not fry during the second battle (Fox and Hounds). Joe -- -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
