Do you think that decision could be reconsidered, given the implications for 'access' and RDA maintenance/fallout? It seems the 'bulk' of the current authority records/headings are for conference names. I've created a few of the others, but rarely. The less problematic change would be to treat fairs, exhibitions, festivals like conferences. I am certainly in favor of more consistency. I do not have access to the current version of RDA so I am unable to make proposals for changes.
