I think it can best be described as Lots, some manufacturers actually state 
that if uniform color is desired you need to match lot numbers.  That would 
ensure crystalline cells from the same batch and would be the most uniform in 
appearance.  Beyond that, it’s just hard to know until they are up, and forever 
annoying if they don’t match well:/
