I think I have decided for now that the best way to install my software is
not to deal with the registry. I found that Winzip Self-Extractor will make a
file that the user can click on and unzip. I just want to put my unzipped file
on the user's C drive or wherever he wants to put it. However, in using Winzip
Self-Extractor it asks for a 'setup.exe' file. Is that something I can make in
Real Basic? Or is it a script? Does anyone have any experience with these
things?
I am normally a mac user, so this is so foreign to me. Thanks in advance for
any help!
I use Inno Setup

The 'wizard' is pretty simple to use and the resulting script file is
pretty easy to read.
