is there a possibility to reveal the source code? maybe i can rebuild
it with daves addeys template.
i am using the plugin for a program i want to upgrade to universal.
if i cannot use the plugin any more, i will have to skip a feature
(play on frame of sound).

It's not my web site anymore; I shut it down and let go of the
domain name. I don't know what the "maintenance" message is about.
I'm afraid I never got around to building a universal version of
the SoundOutputPlugin. I haven't written any audio synthesis code
in a few years - I'm using hardware synths these days.
