Really. I recently faced a job that would've required an existing console app running as launchdaemon to manipulate a graphics file and then send the modified file to a new location on a file server. Although the job didn't pan out, I had assumed it would be possible to put the graphics file into a picture object, manipulate it however I wish, then export it again. Are such designs "bad" for some reason? I seem to recall that there were problems getting the Graphics object into console applications in RB because the Graphics object was so tied into the parts of RB that dealt with GUI apps. Or something like that. That discussion was a long time ago, though. ----------------- Russ Tyndall Wake Forest, NC _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
