I wanted to write an agent app for Apple's Xgrid that renders Mandelbrot patterns and makes movies out of them. Xgrid agent programs run under the user nobody and have no connection at all to X11. So far, everything works, from the client side splitting up the job to submitting and retrieving jobs, and I have a method that renders a Mandelbrot pattern onto a graphics class, but I can't compile the agent app because the graphics class isn't supported in console apps.
