There are no ASCII characters like you describe. ASCII is only a very  
basic set of character from code id 0 - 127.

Beyond that there are characters often referred to as "high ascii"  
but these are actually characters in other encodings.

There ARE characters in UTF8 and probably other encodings.

The other issue you may run into is whether a font has a glyph for a  
specific code point. Not all do

Put this code in an editfield's open event and then mess around with  
the font and you'll see
